Yo. I'm Nate. I hate doing the third-person-professional-pitch-writeup bullshit and this is my own damn website, so I'm gonna try to break it down as if I were talking to you.

Forever Ending Records is a DIY all-genre record label and recording studio based out of my home in San Diego, California.

I'd been an aspiring musician & producer throughout most of my teens & always thought the idea of starting some sort of label was cool. I was pretty against the idea of going to college after high school, and at this point I'd already been too locked in on starting bands & producing solo music to care to look back on that decision. I knew I wanted some sort of foundation to independently drop music under and eventually one day the name clicked. Ideas finally started to take shape with the release of my first 4-track beat tape along with the Hereditary demo later that year in 2022, and cassette tapes seemed to be the coolest & most readily available option to distribute physicals.

I started dubbing tapes off my cassette deck for friends' bands and FER began to feel more purpose-driven, both in the DIY realm and in the San Diego Hardcore scene. What began as an umbrella to independently publish my own creations grew into a hub for all the homies to get a quick round of tapes off for their band. To this day, Forever Ending Records runs on a nonprofit distribution model in which artists/bands make every dime they earn from their releases and are allowed full control of literally anything they wanna do. I can't stress enough how important it is for creatives to own & access their shit, and I'm grateful to be able to host a platform for other like-minded musicians to do just that.
